Take your chicken out of the fridge at LEAST an hour before cooking to let to get to room temperature.
Preheat your grill to medium high heat. When proteins touch grills that are cold or not hot enough it easily causes the meat to stick and creates a mess, preheating is very important.
In a bowl mix together marinade. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes while the grill is preheating. (You can marinate for 2-5 hours if you want to prep ahead of time!)
Place your chicken thighs skin side down on the grill and close the lid. Let the chicken thighs cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown with a slight char. Once browned flip over to the other side and finish cooking for another 8-10 minutes. (Note if you are using bone in chicken thighs this will take significantly longer, I would 1.5x the cook time) If you go to flip the chicken breasts and they start to stick, leave them on for another minute!
You can check to make sure your chicken is cooked thoroughly by using an internal thermometer. They should be cooked to 165 degrees F.
Oven Instructions:
Take your chicken out of the fridge at LEAST an hour before cooking to let to get to room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 425 and prepare a parchment lined baking sheet.
In a bowl mix together marinade. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes while the oven is preheating.
Place chicken on parchment lined baking sheet (it’s ok if they’re close together, they will shrink considerably in the oven)
Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken thighs reach an internal temp of 165 degrees F. You can check to make sure your chicken is cooked thoroughly by using an internal thermometer.
